Fall 2017 E-Newsletter

Cities of Service would like to congratulate St. Peter's University on the reopening of their Campus Food Pantry and Clothes Closet that has been closed since 2014 until now for renovations. St. Peter's University is the only institution in the country to have these facilities!

St. Peter's campus kitchen utilizes donated food that would otherwise be wasted into providing meals to the local community. The campus kitchen has already served more than 36,000 meals to residents of Hudson County from 40,000 pounds of food that would of been wasted otherwise. What St. Peters is doing is an invaluable tool in the fight against hunger in Jersey City.
Located in the convent at St. Aedan's Church on Bergen Avenue. The Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be available to members of the community and students in the community that need clothing and dry goods. It will be open the first and third Saturdays of each month from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and the second Wednesday of each month from 4 p.m.-6 p.m.
