Our Work

The Community Uplifting Project is a grassroots volunteer-based organization. We work with Jersey City communities to direct available resources towards worthy local initiatives and individuals demonstrating need and promise.

We are able to do this by our organization’s values: Listen, Build and Empower.

To LISTEN

to the community so we may tailor projects to best address their needs.

To BUILD

strong working bonds with law enforcement, public officials, and residents to provide a safe and healthy atmosphere in which all can work, live and play in a crime free environment.

To EMPOWER

our youth with knowledge, integrity, respect for their neighborhoods and a passion for achievement
