Volunteer opportunity description

Six weeks prior to THE NORTHERN TRUST, Liberty National Golf Club will be in the spotlight as it plays host to 64 of the world’s best junior golfers. Conducted by the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), the Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty National (June 24 – 28) will feature the top 32 boys and top 32 girls in a unique, round-robin style, match play event. Modeled after the PGA TOUR’s WGC-Dell Match Play event, each gender division will be split into eight groupings of four players each to compete in three guaranteed singles matches. The top eight boys and girls from each group after pool play will advance to single-elimination matches. Match play champions for the Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty National will be crowned on Friday, June 28.

The Polo Golf Junior Classic at Liberty National is currently looking for volunteers to assist with many different roles. Volunteering for this event will give you the chance to meet golf’s next generation as well as see them compete in a captivating and highly-competitive format. If you are interested in assisting with this event, you can view the volunteer sign up portal HERE, or contact Tournament Director Patrick Plank at pplank@ajga.org. There is no cost to volunteer at this event. The AJGA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the overall growth and development of young men and women who aspire to earn college golf scholarships through competitive junior golf.
